Zynga’s journey began in January 2007 when Mark Pincus initiated a project to create a social poker game for The Facebook platform. Named after his dog, Zinga, the company found its first home in San Francisco’s “Chip Factory.”  In just six weeks, Zynga’s team developed FarmVille, a groundbreaking social game that quickly reached millions of daily active users after its launch.
